Horizon Utilities – Annual Report

  • Art Directed Photo Shoot.
  • Designed the Annual Report using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • The Annual Report was also put on a memory stick and put in packaging designed to look like a light switch.

Horizon Holdings Inc. is an investment holding company whose principal operating units include Horizon Utilities (the local electricity distributor in Hamilton and St. Catharines) and Horizon Energy Solutions (a renewable energy firm). The company is one of the largest distributors of electricity in the province of Ontario.

Each year, Horizon publishes a Sustainability-Based Annual Report that measures the company’s performance on environmental, social and economic issues. While at Pier 8 Group, I designed the annual report and created a special version, distributed on a bamboo USB drive and packaged to look like a light switch.
